It is extremely important for the wine maker to be able to check precisely the quantity of pure sulphur dioxide to be added to must or wine.
This can be done by means of a simple, practical and above all safe device, the C 13 Sulphite meter.
The meter is filled from a canister with pure sulphur dioxide in the liquid state, which it releases into the must or wine in controlled metered quantities, as a gas or liquid.
It also makes it possible to prepare controlled title watery solutions of sulphur dioxide, which can be added to must or wine.
The device is made entirely in AISI 316 stainless steel and the structure, made to current standards, is generously proportioned to fully meet safety requirements. It comprises a container with a capacity of 6 kg of liquid sulphur dioxide, an original “Klinger” toughened glass mirror with a graduated scale in grams which allows the quantity of sulphur dioxide released to be kept under control, and a set of cocks for the filling and discharge of the sulphur dioxide.
